FAQs

Do I need to attend my home inspection?
Yes. Plan on scheduling your inspection at a time when you can be present. This is one of the best opportunities you’ll have for a one-on-one education about the home.
What does a home inspection cover?
We inspect all major areas of the home including the structure, exterior, plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, and the interior.
Please tell me you don't hand-write your reports?
Rest assured – we’ve been delivering secure online inspection reports with digital pictures for over 10 years. At the end of your inspection,  will receive a secure online report with digital pictures that is available for secure download from our website.  We make it easy for you to share your inspection results with your other trusted advisors.
Do I need a thermal imaging assessment?
Thermal imaging is extremely useful if you have concerns about potential issues that cannot normally be seen by the naked eye. Some of the most valuable situations we’ve helped investigate for home buyers and sellers include concerns about unusually high energy costs, unexplained moisture damage, and strange smells that originated from a rodent or pest infestation. We provide Thermal Imaging Assessments as an optional add-on to your home inspection.
Can I bring my kids/parents/in-laws?
The home buying process can be a very intense and stressful time period.  We find that our clients get the most value out of their home inspections when they have as few distractions as possible during the inspection.
