1st Year New Home Warranty Inspection

Home inspector checking under kitchen sink for pipe issues.

Having a home inspection completed prior to the first anniversary of your new home purchase is strongly recommended by The Ontario New Home Warranty Program.

Don’t fall into the trap of many homeowners that attempt to save a few dollars and detect all the deficiencies themselves. Missing a deficiency can cost you thousands of dollars for something that either the builder or the Ontario New Home Warranty Program may have covered if it had been reported.

Be sure and schedule your 11th Month Warranty Inspection with Baseline Inspections. You must submit your Year-End Form listing any new or outstanding deficiencies within the last 30 days before the expiry of year one of your warranty.
